Huyen Tran is a Vietnamese interdisciplinary artist living and working in New York City. Through sculpture, site-specific installation, and performance, her work investigates how capitalist systems shape value, discipline bodies, and normalize obedience. Working with household readymades and fabricated forms, often replicated in multiples, Tran considers how objects, and by extension, bodies function as placeholders that quietly sustain broader social, political, and economic systems.

Huyen Tran is an MFA Candidate at Hunter College (Spring ‘27) and holds a BA in Marketing from Baruch College.
